Wall material: This question can be answered through observation, but, if in doubt, ask the person interviewed. For a two-storied house, especially in the rural areas, where the ground floor is used for poultry, grain storage, storage of farm implements etc. and the household lives on the upper floor, report the material used in walling the upper floor. If the household has more than one material of the wall, then write the most important one. The codes for wall materials are given in the questionnaire.
