Questions and instructions

Literal question
What is the floor area of the housing/dwelling unit occupied by your household?
Interviewer instructions
Enter the floor area occupied by the household in square meters, taking into account the number of floors in the building occupied by the household. So, if a dwelling has two floors and each floor has 100 square meters of space, and the household occupies all the rooms in this dwelling, then the total floor area occupied by the household is 200 square meters. If the respondent does not know the exact total area, ask for an estimate. The area under the house, separate toilet/kitchen/storeroom etc., outside the house should be excluded from the floor area.
